Requirements

3+ years industrial experience in membranes evaluations/development, electrochemical engineering, and system/component failure analysis.
Hands-on experience in the ion exchange membranes testing, analysis, and electrochemical characterizations.
Utilize statistical design of experiments to optimize resource use and enhance data quality.
Analyze results through thorough and rigorous statistical methods.
Experience in materials characterization techniques (e.g., XRD, SEM, EDX, AFM, FTIR, …).
Experienced in identifying membranes failure mechanisms in electrochemical processes.
Experience dealing with developing or conducting tests using accelerated degradation protocols.
Experience in cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, potentiostatic and galvanostatic testing and durability testing of electrochemical components.
Experience in electrolyzer/fuel cell testing and optimization toward performance and durability improvement.
Experience working in R&D and product development environments.
Excellent critical thinking, analysis, problem-solving and communications skills.
Ability to interact with a wide range of scientists and engineers.
Be a registered professional with Engineers and Geoscientists BC or have the ability to readily become one.
