Responsibilities
- Work with Server and Cloud based technical architectures, solution migration strategies, and assist engineering on application optimizations
- Contribute to the design and deployment of infrastructure on Server and Cloud through manual, automation tooling and processes for operations
- Upgrade infrastructure, software, and technologies to the latest currency
- Participate in project planning meetings to share your knowledge of system options, risk, impact, and benefits
- Be part of a leading team that paves the path for others through investigations and Proof of Technologies around tools, code management, reporting, server and cloud-based infrastructure
- Participate in discussions and contribute to the infrastructure practices and conventions across the company
Requirements
- 1+ years operational experience in Server support, upgrades configurations, and implementations
- Customer service approach
- Networking knowledge
- Knowledge of server platforms (Windows, Linux, AIX)
- Familiarity with database technologies in cloud such as (MSSQL, Oracle, OpenEdge)
- IT operations experience (ITIL, ITSM)
- Development experience
- Familiarity in DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Experience in Microsoft Azure and AKS or other similar cloud technologies
- Familiarity with standard IT security practices
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Jenkins, AKS, Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell
