About the role

  • Technological expert in software integration and optimization of ERP solutions for the agricultural market. Guiding clients through implementation and ensuring smooth user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze needs and prepare projects
  • Guide clients in preparing and structuring the data required for projects
  • Analyze and rigorously document clients’ business processes to identify actual needs
  • Translate client requirements into clear specifications for the development team
  • Implement software solutions
  • Actively participate in project meetings
  • Prepare and configure software solutions and client environments for seamless deployment
  • Support clients at every stage of the implementation process
  • Perform functional testing and validate deliverable compliance
  • Participate in on-site go-lives when required
  • Assess end-user needs and create tailored training plans (guides, procedures, short training videos, etc.)
  • Provide training remotely or on-site to ensure optimal use of the solutions
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Diagnose and resolve software issues
  • Document incidents and solutions
  • Execute system and application tests related to software developments and contribute to continuous product improvement
  • Participate in exploratory meetings with prospects
  • Analyze preliminary technical needs
  • Deliver demonstrations adapted to the client context
  • Contribute to estimating implementation effort for proposals

Requirements

  • DEC (college diploma) or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Comfortable communicating in English
  • Knowledge of English is required to communicate with anglophone clients
  • Knowledge of the agricultural market and farm management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts and an analytical mindset
  • Comfortable with digital tools and a strong interest in technology solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (an asset)
  • Experience with ERP software (an asset)
