About the role

  • Specialist in Professional Resources at McCarthy Tétrault managing talent programs and providing operational expertise. Requires 5 years of experience and post-secondary education in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the service delivery of the Firm’s talent programs, including Recruitment, Conflict management, onboarding & integration, Off-boarding, Performance management, Compensation and others.
  • Providing operational subject matter expertise within designated Centre of Expertise.
  • Contributing to national Professional Resources initiatives and team operations.
  • Liaising with Firm members.
  • Leading processes and collaborating with Firm members to improve and update.
  • Identifying PR processes, tasks, and project improvement opportunities and collaborating with PRG team and Firm members.

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in a professional services (or similar) environment.
  • Fluent bilingualism (French / English) is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional client service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities.
  • Flexibility to new ideas, frequent change in priorities, etc.
