About the role
- Specialist in Professional Resources at McCarthy Tétrault managing talent programs and providing operational expertise. Requires 5 years of experience and post-secondary education in relevant fields.
Responsibilities
- Managing the service delivery of the Firm’s talent programs, including Recruitment, Conflict management, onboarding & integration, Off-boarding, Performance management, Compensation and others.
- Providing operational subject matter expertise within designated Centre of Expertise.
- Contributing to national Professional Resources initiatives and team operations.
- Liaising with Firm members.
- Leading processes and collaborating with Firm members to improve and update.
- Identifying PR processes, tasks, and project improvement opportunities and collaborating with PRG team and Firm members.
Requirements
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources, Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in a professional services (or similar) environment.
- Fluent bilingualism (French / English) is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional client service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities.
- Flexibility to new ideas, frequent change in priorities, etc.
