Hiring a UX/UI Front - End Engineer for a 6 - 12 month contract in Toronto, ON. Must have React, TypeScript, and design systems experience.
About the role
- Process Control Engineer Student supporting Six Sigma and Red X initiatives at Motor Coach Industries. Applying DMAIC methodology to improve processes in engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Support Six Sigma and Red X problem-solving activities.
- Apply the DMAIC methodology to improve engineering processes.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes and develop solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process control measures.
- Contribute to design changes and testing activities.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary engineering program.
- Eligible to work in Canada and available to meet the required work schedule and work arrangement for the duration of the term.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design software (e.g., Unigraphics/Siemens NX, AutoCAD) is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
