Responsibilities
Develop and implement advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning algorithms and predictive models, to assess fraud risk
Combine, interpret, and analyze highly complex data from multiple sources to uncover patterns, anomalies, and risk indicators
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Analysts, and cross‑functional partners to understand requirements, validate models, and support decision-making
Continuously improve processes, algorithms, and models based on operational changes, investigator feedback, and emerging fraud trends
Monitor for new fraud risks and build or update models to stay ahead of evolving threats
Maintain thorough documentation for workflows, models, algorithms, databases, and code repositories
Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and data protection standards.
Requirements
Education or equivalent experience in data science, analytics, statistics, engineering, or a related field
5+ years of progressive experience applying data science and machine learning in real-world environments
Background working with federal contracts or government-regulated datasets is considered a significant advantage
Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, Git/GitHub, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, or willingness to learn
Professional certifications in data science or programming (Microsoft, Google, IBM, etc.) are considered an asset
Strong communication skills—able to present complex information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
A highly analytical mindset with the ability to independently interpret data, identify relationships, and draw meaningful conclusions
Curiosity and a drive to continuously learn and adapt
Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize, organize, and act with appropriate urgency

English fluency; French is considered an asset.
