About the role
- Software Development & Data Science Intern at MHI RJ Aviation supporting data analysis and web tool development. Engaging in various activities between analytics and development tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide insights and intelligent decision-making across functions
- Contribute to the delivery of real projects using the latest technology to solve business problems
- Perform analysis on datasets to derive insight and guide future decisions
- Develop automated reports and scripts with defined steps and methodology
- Support web development team with design, feature implementation, and maintenance of web tool
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members
Requirements
- Completing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- Analytical mind
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables & Advanced Formulas, PowerPoint
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods
- General programming proficiency, with an emphasis on Python and SQL, and tools such as Git and Azure
- Knowledge of Polars/Pandas, Dash, Flask, shadcn/mantine components
- High organizational skills and a team player able to work with variable departments.
