About the role
- Data Scientist leading the design and optimization of the rewards economy at Mistplay. Contributing to initiatives in predictive modeling and machine learning-driven operations.
Responsibilities
- You will be part of the cross-functional team responsible for the overall rewards strategy and loyalty economy for Mistplay.
- Build and implement rewards economy systems and core loops driven by machine learning.
- Continuously analyze and optimize economy strategies and implementations to improve engagement and drive business outcomes.
- Lead the strategy on how machine learning and AI can advance optimization for better user experience and improved business performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years total experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Quantitative Finance (Quant), Econometrics, and/or a Master's or PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Understanding of reinforcement learning (Deep Q, contextual bandits).
- Expertise implementing machine learning models using Python and PyTorch, along with strong data analysis skills using SQL and Python.
- A fast, agile approach to exploring and implementing solutions with a strategic focus on core loop and economy design.
- Background and experience in Quantitative Finance (Quant), Data Science, or related fields, with a fundamental understanding of economy design and core loops in gaming or similar contexts.
- A passion for innovative AI solutions, with demonstrated knowledge of real-time predictive modeling.
- Prior experience in the mobile gaming industry focused on player behavior economics and engagement strategies is a strong nice-to-have.
