About the role
- Water Resources Engineer providing project management in surface water engineering for diverse clients in Ontario. Collaborating with teams on engineering support and technical reporting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management and engineering support for surface water projects and designs
- Complete asset management studies and inventories for municipal clients
- Conduct occasional inspection on construction projects and provide construction administration services
- Manage a variety of projects for a diverse group of clients, including budget/cost control; schedule tracking; and client management
- Review and authorize design drawings, including Issued for Tender/Construction drawing sets
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on river process-related projects
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and work plans
- Build strong client relationships and liaise with stakeholders
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in water resource engineering
- Professional Engineer designation with PEO is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Water Resources/Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Experience with stormwater management, civil engineering and land development design
- Experience in writing technical reports and proposals, and giving presentations to multi-stakeholder groups
- Ability to effectively manage projects of various sizes and complexity simultaneously
- A valid Class G driver’s license with no restrictions and a clean driving record.
