About the role

Water Resources Engineer providing project management in surface water engineering for diverse clients in Ontario. Collaborating with teams on engineering support and technical reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide project management and engineering support for surface water projects and designs
Complete asset management studies and inventories for municipal clients
Conduct occasional inspection on construction projects and provide construction administration services
Manage a variety of projects for a diverse group of clients, including budget/cost control; schedule tracking; and client management
Review and authorize design drawings, including Issued for Tender/Construction drawing sets
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on river process-related projects
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and work plans
Build strong client relationships and liaise with stakeholders

10+ years of experience in water resource engineering
Professional Engineer designation with PEO is required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Water Resources/Environmental Engineering, or related field
Experience with stormwater management, civil engineering and land development design
Experience in writing technical reports and proposals, and giving presentations to multi-stakeholder groups
Ability to effectively manage projects of various sizes and complexity simultaneously
A valid Class G driver’s license with no restrictions and a clean driving record.
