About the role
- Senior Staff Product Manager building Firefox’s secure browser-control platform at Mozilla. Defining WebDriver BiDi strategy, AI assistant integrations, and user safety controls.
Responsibilities
- Own the shared foundation and the building blocks it gives other software, and make them reliable and secure
- Push the open standard (WebDriver BiDi) forward, and build Firefox-only advantages the standard won’t cover
- Design safety controls that let a person approve actions, see when software is acting for them, and take back control
- Define the strategy for major third-party AI assistants people already use
- Serve internal teams (Smart Window, New Products) and outside tools through one shared layer
- Drive adoption across teams and tools, platform usage, reliability, and security
Requirements
- A product-minded engineer, or a very technical PM who can drive a technical product
- Developer-space experience, with the range to think about consumers and internal platforms
- Comfortable setting strategy in ambiguity; own a technical contract other teams depend on
- Strong instincts on security and trust
- Nice to have: web standards, MCP, browser automation
