Responsibilities
- Design and develop features, optimizations, and solutions for complex data platform challenges.
- Build and maintain data pipelines that process large volumes of structured and unstructured data using big data technologies.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness throughout the pipeline lifecycle.
- Monitor data performance and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver on project requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of software development experience building data pipelines and processing large-scale data from multiple sources.
- Programming proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java with experience in automated testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience with big data technologies such as EMR, Apache Spark, or distributed computing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience building production systems in AWS cloud environments.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational database technologies, data extraction, transformation, and integration.
