About the role

  • Lead Front-End developer at nesto, building robust mortgage solutions. Collaborate on high-quality projects to innovate and enhance the lending ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on and lead complex technical projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery while maintaining technical excellence.
  • Spearhead initiatives to improve code quality and workflows, actively contributing to discussions and presentations in front-end meetings.
  • Writing automated tests and collaborating with the QA team to ensure robust and solid code.
  • Leveraging artificial intelligence tools to enhance workflows, efficiency, and code quality.
  • Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Foster a culture of engineering excellence, inclusivity, and technical curiosity, where engineers can thrive and grow their skills.
  • Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers, helping them grow their technical expertise and career development.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Front-End development.
  • Extensive experience with Typescript, React ecosystem (Next.js is a plus), and modern state management libraries.
  • Strong expertise in CSS/SASS, modern CSS frameworks, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with frontend performance optimization and monitoring.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and API integration patterns.
  • Ability to anticipate business impact and technical risks.
  • Proven ability to influence technical decisions and drive change, with experience in a leadership or influential role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with engineers at all levels.
  • Commitment to writing high-quality code and continuously improving projects
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, testing methodologies, and agile development processes.
  • Passion for software development with a track record of continuous learning and growth.
