About the role

  • Ingénieur ou ingénieure en circulation et planification des transports chez Norda Stelo, responsable de l'analyse de la sécurité routière et de la simulation de circulation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analyses and prepare study reports in the areas of traffic, road safety, active transportation, and public transit
  • Perform traffic simulations using Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, VISUM and AIMSUN
  • Develop geometric redesign concepts
  • Actively contribute to the development of this expertise within the Smart Mobility Center of Excellence team
  • Design and implement a variety of innovative solutions for clients within your area of expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or another related engineering discipline)
  • 6 to 9 years of relevant experience
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Proficiency with Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, VISUM and AIMSUN
  • Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS)
  • Experience in engineering studies and preparation of technical documents
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Fluency in French, spoken and written
