Junior Hydrotechnical Engineer contributing to coastal and hydraulic projects within the Water Resources Technical Team in Markham. Reporting to a Project Manager and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses and prepare study reports in the areas of traffic, road safety, active transportation, and public transit
- Perform traffic simulations using Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, VISUM and AIMSUN
- Develop geometric redesign concepts
- Actively contribute to the development of this expertise within the Smart Mobility Center of Excellence team
- Design and implement a variety of innovative solutions for clients within your area of expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or another related engineering discipline)
- 6 to 9 years of relevant experience
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Proficiency with Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, VISUM and AIMSUN
- Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS)
- Experience in engineering studies and preparation of technical documents
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Fluency in French, spoken and written
