About the role

Engineer executing intelligent transport systems projects in collaboration with a team in Montréal. Ensuring project coherence and managing technical aspects in smart transportation and telecommunications.

Responsibilities

Carry out assignments in collaboration with the team of engineers and technicians
Manage the projects for which you will be responsible
Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, specifications and detailed engineering
Under the supervision of the team lead, support the firm’s technical development in the following disciplines: transportation and smart cities, telecommunications, and electrotechnical engineering
Ensure interdisciplinary consistency of plans and specifications with the project’s various engineering disciplines
Conduct surveys of existing installations and gather relevant information

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum five (5) years of design experience in intelligent transportation systems (ITS), electrical systems, and telecommunications — on complex, large-scale projects
Minimum two (2) years of project management experience in intelligent transportation systems
Strong experience in client needs analysis
Fluency in French, both spoken and written
