About the role
- Engineer executing intelligent transport systems projects in collaboration with a team in Montréal. Ensuring project coherence and managing technical aspects in smart transportation and telecommunications.
Responsibilities
- Carry out assignments in collaboration with the team of engineers and technicians
- Manage the projects for which you will be responsible
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, specifications and detailed engineering
- Under the supervision of the team lead, support the firm’s technical development in the following disciplines: transportation and smart cities, telecommunications, and electrotechnical engineering
- Ensure interdisciplinary consistency of plans and specifications with the project’s various engineering disciplines
- Conduct surveys of existing installations and gather relevant information
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum five (5) years of design experience in intelligent transportation systems (ITS), electrical systems, and telecommunications — on complex, large-scale projects
- Minimum two (2) years of project management experience in intelligent transportation systems
- Strong experience in client needs analysis
- Fluency in French, both spoken and written
