Ingénieur(e) municipal(e) spécialisé(e) en travaux civils, impliqué(e) dans des projets d’infrastructures urbaines et multidisciplinaires. Collaborer avec diverses équipes et parties prenantes pour mener à bien des projets variés.
Responsibilities
Design and oversee municipal infrastructure projects (water supply, sanitary sewers, roads, drainage, etc.)
Prepare drawings, specifications and cost estimates
Take part in the technical management of projects, from preliminary design to commissioning
Ensure compliance with municipal standards, regulations and codes
Contribute to projects in the energy, mining, industrial, rail and port sectors
Adapt technical approaches to the specific requirements of different sectors
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, environmental, geotechnical, etc.)
Coordinate with stakeholders (clients, municipalities, contractors, partners)
Attend project follow-up meetings and technical reviews
Mentor and supervise junior staff as required
Conduct or oversee construction site monitoring activities
Support resolution of technical issues during execution
Ensure the quality of work and conformity of deliverables
Contribute to the development of best practices within the Centre of Excellence
Participate in the optimization of technical processes and tools
Act as a technical reference in your area of expertise
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
6 to 9 years of experience in municipal engineering
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Experience in the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects
Knowledge of municipal standards and practices in Quebec
Experience in multi‑sector environments (energy, mining, industrial, etc.) – an asset
Familiarity with design tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.)
Excellent analytical, prioritization and problem‑solving skills
Leadership, autonomy and strong teamwork abilities
