About the role

  • Intermediate Consultant (Mining Engineer) collaborating on mine planning and closure initiatives. Building relationships with clients and mentoring junior staff to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the mine planning team by providing guidance and mentorship
  • Assist in creating design surfaces, schedules, and cost estimates for mine operations
  • Responsible for proposal development and technical documentation
  • Facilitate workshops and conduct risk assessments with stakeholders
  • Build relationships with clients and engage in business development initiatives

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of mine planning principles
  • Experience in operational or closure phases within mining
  • Familiarity with regulatory and legislative frameworks
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with mine planning software (Hexagon MinePlan and/or Deswik, CAD)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for workshops, client meetings, and site visits
