About the role

  • Web Developer responsible for maintaining and evolving OpenZeppelin's online presence. Focused on modern stack implementation and user experience optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Own website development and operations by building, maintaining, and optimizing openzeppelin.com and related web properties, ensuring consistent uptime, fast load times, and a seamless user experience.
  • Lead and execute the CMS migration from HubSpot to a modern stack (Next.js, Webflow, or similar), managing the phased transition from architecture planning through implementation and deployment.
  • Build interactive web experiences including live code playgrounds, dynamic stats dashboards, ROI calculators, and developer tools that set OpenZeppelin apart from competitors.
  • Implement technical SEO and AIO optimization through schema markup, structured data, Core Web Vitals improvements, and content structures optimized for AI Overview and generative search engines.
  • Manage website infrastructure including CI/CD pipelines, staging environments, CDN configuration, and monitoring to ensure reliability and fast iteration cycles.
  • Create conversion-focused assets such as landing pages, lead capture tools, smart CTAs, and engagement widgets to support marketing campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally by working with Design, Product Marketing, DevRel, Demand Generation, and Content teams to translate designs into pixel-perfect implementations and support marketing initiatives with technical execution.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of professional web development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Next.js, and modern HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with at least one modern CMS platform (Webflow, Contentful, Sanity, or similar headless CMS).
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, web performance optimization, and analytics tools.
  • Comfort with version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, and modern deployment platforms (Vercel, Netlify, or similar).
  • An eye for design and strong attention to detail when translating mockups into responsive, production-quality code.
  • A self-driven, proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLM APIs, or automation platforms (Make, n8n, Zapier, or custom scripts).
