About the role
- Software Engineer contributing to backend services and data pipelines for Pagos' data platform. Collaborating with teams to drive engineering projects and ensure product quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and infrastructure components
- Contribute to data pipelines and processes (ELT/ETL)
- Build and maintain integrations with data providers
- Drive engineering projects with a high level of ownership
- Ensure the quality of products and data through testing and code reviews
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with an emphasis on Data Engineering
- Strong backend development skills, including building and supporting REST/gRPC APIs and services
- Experience with complex SQL queries and database/lakehouse technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- A bias for action and an eagerness to learn and grow with the industry
- Nice to have: Experience with big data technologies and frameworks, .NET ecosystem, orchestration tools
