About the role
- Senior Fullstack Software Engineer developing innovative LLM solutions for Pebl's conversational AI assistant. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and optimize backend services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Build, optimize, and maintain applications and services using TypeScript, Python, Postgres, and AWS in a serverless environment.
- Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of constant learning and improvement.
- Contribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to enhance our technology stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on backend and serverless architecture.
- 1+ years of hands on experience building Agentic LLM products.
- Experience standing up and interacting with MCP Servers.
- Experience with Python or Typescript, Postgres, and AWS (Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, S3, etc.).
- Solid understanding of LLM design patterns, observability/instrumentation, prompt engineering.
- A lean mindset - Focus on delivering customer value by minimizing waste, optimizing workflows, fostering continuous improvement, and prioritizing quick iteration with quick feedback cycles.
- Experience working collaboratively in a remote environment, with a team-oriented mindset.
