About the role

  • Onboarding Specialist guiding salons through setup, training, and adoption of Phorest’s beauty-industry software across the USA and Canada. Managing customer portfolios from kickoff to go-live.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of up to approximately 20 onboarding salons each month, managing the full onboarding journey from kickoff to go-live
  • Help salon owners understand and realize the value of Phorest, from core setup to advanced features
  • Design and deliver tailored onboarding plans, including Phorest Academy education, instructor-led training, and strategic guidance
  • Drive product adoption across PhorestPay, Online Store, and Online Reputation
  • Partner with Sales to ensure a smooth transition from purchase to launch
  • Lead “Graduation” conversations showcasing Phorest’s impact before customers transition to the Grow team
  • Forecast the monthly pipeline with the Team Lead and ensure accounts go live within agreed timelines
  • Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point, solving customer challenges with practical, action-oriented solutions

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a client-facing role such as onboarding, customer success, training, or similar
  • Experience in the salon, beauty, or wellness industry, or with scheduling/software platforms, is a strong advantage
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple customers and priorities
  • Customer-centric approach and genuine interest in helping businesses succeed
  • Ability to ask thoughtful questions, uncover needs, and navigate complex customer requirements
  • Proactive, responsive, and clear professional communication
  • Strong empathy, resilience, and emotional intelligence
