- Junior Java Developer completing paid Cúram training for PLATO, Canada’s Indigenous-owned software testing and technology services company. Building digital services for a multi-year government project.
Responsibilities
- Complete an intensive 2-week Cúram training program led by senior specialists
- Implement Cúram product features in a cross-functional agile scrum team
- Create Cúram technical designs and user stories
- Configure and customize Cúram
- Deploy code, perform unit testing, and fix bugs
- Collaborate with Cúram business analysts, UI/UX designers, experience designers, and test automation engineers
- Build and modernize digital services for a large multi-year government project
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with Java, J2EE, and web technologies
- Knowledge of front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems
- Experience with SOAP and REST web services
- Familiarity with ReactJS, Angular, and NodeJS
- Experience with government or public sector client engagements
- Government of Canada Reliability clearance or higher security clearance must be in place
- Prior Cúram experience is not required
