Parts Consultant supporting farmers, technicians, and customers with agricultural equipment parts. Managing inventory, counter sales, ordering, and dealership parts operations.
Responsibilities
Responsible for counter sales focusing on internal and external customer satisfaction
Maintain attractive and current showroom displays
Promote and merchandise parts and accessories
Assist with verification, stocking, and ordering of parts
Help customers and service technicians identify the right agricultural equipment parts
Use catalogs, diagrams, and software systems to track down required parts
Manage inventory and ensure parts are ordered, received, and ready
Provide customer service and helpful recommendations
Perform other associated tasks as required by the Parts Manager
Requirements
2 - 5 years of experience in a parts department, service department, or similar customer-facing role
Ability to identify parts using catalogs, diagrams, and software systems
Solid problem-solving and attention to detail
Must have computer experience
Must be customer orientated
Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory
Valid driver’s license
High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge of Agricultural equipment an asset
Experience in an ag dealership, heavy equipment, or automotive parts environment preferred
Familiarity with brands like John Deere, or similar is a plus
Prior experience with inventory systems or parts databases is an asset
Rotating weekends and on-call participation will be required
