About the role

  • Business Analyst implementing Prophix One financial planning software for finance clients. Configuring solutions, training users, and supporting consulting engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in remote and on-site implementations of Prophix solutions, including configuration, setup, and go-live support
  • Deliver product training to client teams
  • Respond to client business-problem inquiries and translate them into practical solutions with senior-staff guidance
  • Work across multiple short-term consulting engagements while managing tasks and timelines
  • Engage directly with CFOs, VPs of Finance, and other senior finance stakeholders
  • Identify and escalate customer issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide product expertise to internal team members and external customers
  • Contribute to internal project work under Professional Services direction
  • Apply senior-consultant feedback to improve delivery

Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related field, plus 0–2 years of relevant experience; co-op terms and internships count
  • Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals under IFRS, ASPE, or US GAAP
  • Ability to read and explain the three core financial statements and how they connect
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including lookups, SUMIFS, and pivot tables
  • Comfortable cleaning large datasets
  • Ability to manage several concurrent deliverables
  • Clear written and verbal communication with senior finance stakeholders
  • Responsible use of AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude for research, drafting, or data review
  • Ability to work hybrid from the Etobicoke office and travel to client sites as needed
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Preferred: exposure to CPM/FP&A platforms, ERP systems, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, SQL, Power Query, Power BI, client-facing or training work, and progress toward CPA or CFA
