Responsibilities

Architect, design, and develop robust end-to-end data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
Design and implement data models within Azure Data Lake, leveraging Medallion Architecture
Develop processes to ingest data from a variety of sources
Automate data workflows and implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
Lead the development and maintenance of internal tools using Python
Design, develop, and maintain custom web-based dashboards and interactive reporting tools using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python-based frameworks
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance

Relevant years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related technical role
Exposure to or interest in capital projects, engineering consulting, project management, or construction management environments
Proficiency or working knowledge of Python with the ability to develop tools, create reusable scripts for data analysis, and build data processing pipelines
Familiarity with core Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks)
Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to write queries to extract and transform data from relational databases
Experience with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Python-based dashboard frameworks
Interest in or exposure to building Generative AI modules (e.g., leveraging APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic)
Awareness of Azure security best practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field is ideal
Willingness to travel when required
