About the role
- Full Stack Developer building automation tools, APIs, and intelligence platforms for PwC Canada. Supporting threat intelligence and vulnerability management through scalable full-stack systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable automation tools and data collection systems integrating with third-party APIs and bespoke data sources
- Develop and maintain internal platforms, services, and RESTful APIs supporting intelligence analysis, publication, and distribution
- Contribute to systems that manage and present structured technical intelligence data
- Collaborate with service and product owners to improve interfaces and APIs and integrate intelligence into client-facing services
- Write clean, performant, reusable frontend and backend code manually and using AI Agents
- Review peers’ work for user needs and engineering best practices
- Contribute to technical and non-technical internal documentation
- Support the ongoing evolution of platforms as they scale globally
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python in an API design context
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and modern web technologies (HTML/CSS)
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs
- Comfortable using AI tools like Cursor and Github Copilot
- Ability to write performant, maintainable, and reusable UI components
- Experience working collaboratively within globally distributed teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- TypeScript, React and Node.js advantageous
- Experience with Python frameworks for backend/API design (e.g., Flask, Falcon) and relational data modelling
- Experience owning full-stack applications across frontend, backend and database models
- Experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Familiarity with modern development practices (CI/CD, containerisation, cloud-native architectures)
- Must be available to work in Canada based on PwC Canada posting context
