About the role
- Technical BSA acting as a bridge between business and tech teams. Leading Snowflake migration efforts and ensuring data quality during the transition.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Lead requirement workshops and translate business needs into detailed data and migration specifications.
- Support end-to-end data warehouse migration to Snowflake, including source-to-target mapping and data validation.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Perform data analysis, data profiling, and impact analysis on legacy systems.
- Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and data mapping documents.
- Define and support UAT, SIT, and data reconciliation activities.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices during migration.
- Act as the primary liaison between business, product, and technical teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Technical BSA / Data BSA on data warehouse or cloud migration projects.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
- Experience with source-to-target mapping, data lineage, and data reconciliation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to understand and work with complex data flows and large datasets.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
