About the role

  • Business Deposit Specialist at RBC designing and implementing custom deposit solutions for financial clients. Supporting Relationship Managers and enhancing client experience through superior financial advice.

Responsibilities

  • Design, structure, present, negotiate and implement custom deposit solutions for complex business financial services clients
  • Support Relationship Managers with portfolio review, opportunity spotting, client discovery and proposing solutions
  • Contribute to an exceptional client experience by providing superior business solutions and financial advice
  • Pre-contact planning, designing, structuring, presentation, negotiation and implementation of client solutions, including pricing within delegated authorities aligned to client complexity
  • Portfolio Review for New Client Acquisition to the product line or additional product sale to existing BFS client; leads identification and execution and proactive contact
  • Documenting of client solutions including detailed updating within client relationship plan and pipeline
  • Client 360 for contact management and reporting
  • Development of CRT capability related to Deposit and Investment opportunity spotting, client discovery and proposing solutions

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience within the product specialty field, Deposit and Investments
  • Strong client impact, execution excellence and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and technology skills, including financial analysis demonstrating the ability to match client needs with financial solutions
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize multiple and sometimes conflicting demands
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • University degree, ideally in commerce, business administration, or related experience (nice-to-have)
  • Commercial Financial Services experience (nice-to-have)
