About the role

  • Regulatory change compliance manager helping RBC assess and communicate regulatory impacts across Canadian banking operations. Monitoring controls, enforcement actions, assessments, and stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Track, assess, and communicate regulatory change and its impacts to compliance and business stakeholders
  • Engage with stakeholders on regulatory change systems and controls
  • Perform monitoring activities and other regulatory change controls
  • Document and process new regulatory change assessments
  • Determine whether regulatory changes apply to assigned business segments
  • Review and report on regulatory enforcement actions
  • Engage with stakeholders regarding the status of regulatory changes
  • Prepare stakeholder reporting materials
  • Support the Director and Associate Directors with initiatives and projects as required

Requirements

  • University degree
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Compliance, Legal and/or Risk Management
  • Process oriented and able to identify process efficiency opportunities
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proactive team player
  • Adaptable to driving and responding to change management
