Responsibilities
Spearhead the Centre’s CQI program and lead committee meetings focused on performance analytics and quality improvement tools
Ensure compliance with the Fixing Long Term Care Act and related regulations
Train and mentor staff on CQI methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Monitor quality indicators, identify areas for enhancement, and develop actionable plans based on data analysis
Coordinate resident and family experience surveys, analyze results, and share insights
Collaborate across teams to implement best practices and robust risk management strategies
Prepare detailed reports to maintain compliance with legislative requirements
Provide person-centered care in an authentic way that is meaningful to residents and their families
Requirements
University degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in performance measurement and research methodologies
Previous experience in a Long-Term Care environment
Familiarity with the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021, and Ontario Regulation 246/22 is preferred
Adult Education experience is a plus
Expertise in quality improvement methodologies and strong analytical skills
Knowledge of Process Mapping, Cause and Effect Diagrams, and other CQI techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families
Ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and deliverables effectively
Strong organizational skills for accurate documentation and legislative compliance
Flexibility to adjust strategies based on feedback and changing care-environment needs
Dedication to enhancing quality of care and resident experiences
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
