About the role

Responsibilities
- Own predictive modelling work across critical business domains — including LTV, churn, retention, and early-signal customer quality assessment
- Support the rollout of Relay's experiment infrastructure by establishing A/B testing standards
- Partner closely with GTM, Sales, Finance, and Product to translate business questions into analytical problems
- Define and improve core metric definitions to ensure consistent, trustworthy business insights
- Deliver stakeholder-facing insights and presentations that tell a compelling story through data
- Contribute to roadmap planning and influence prioritization across teams
- Mentor junior data scientists and elevate team standards for impactful data science
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building and deploying predictive models (e.g., LTV, churn, lead scoring)
- Deeply comfortable with SQL and Python for statistical analyses and problem-solving
- Strong business instincts to understand metric importance and provide solutions
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation, capable of designing experiments from first principles
- Thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with quick ramp-up abilities
- Clear, confident communication skills bridging technical and business areas
- Familiarity with Snowflake and dbt is a strong plus; comfort working within a modern analytics stack is expected.
