About the role
- Senior Backend & AI Resident expert responsible for AI innovations at Revelate. Bridging enterprise engineering with AI capabilities on a Montreal-based team.
Responsibilities
- Lead our AI product Augmentation and create AI foundation.
- Lead migration from a relational database to a vector database.
- Leverage knowledge of Java Spring, node.js, and Unix/Linux platforms.
- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
- Effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2–3 years specifically focused on AI, Machine Learning, and Vector embeddings, LLM orchestration or/and MCP.
- Expert-level Java, Python, SQL, and Kubernetes.
- Fully Bilingual (French and English) is required for this role.
- Understanding of Maven and experience with source code management systems (Git or Mercurial).
