About the role

  • Care Navigator guiding Canadian seniors and caregivers through Sailor Health’s mental healthcare intake. Coordinating therapist matching and providing compassionate first-contact support.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first voice patients or their families hear when reaching out to Sailor Health
  • Guide older adults and caregivers through the intake process with warmth, clarity, and professionalism
  • Provide patient support, care coordination, and emotional guidance
  • Help new patients navigate the journey into care
  • Match patients with the right therapist
  • Help patients feel confident and understood throughout the intake journey
  • Take initiative and help shape key processes within a small, agile team

Requirements

  • Must be based in Canada
  • Empathetic and clear communicator
  • Active listening and ability to make others feel at ease during difficult or emotional conversations
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple patients at different stages
  • Comfortable learning Google Workspace, EHR platforms such as Healthie, and CRMs such as HubSpot
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Interest in mental health and healthcare access
  • Experience in healthcare, customer service, or administrative support is welcome but not required
  • Willingness to work Eastern Time Zone hours
  • Must be willing to work one of the listed 9 a.m.–6 p.m. ET or 12 p.m.–9 p.m. ET shifts
