Responsibilities
- Provide technical support in a professional services environment
- Participate in and eventually lead and host quality assurance audits
- Work with project teams on problem identification and resolution
- Support during the procurement of engineered products and materials
- Assist project teams with the development and execution of project quality plans
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with training employees and controlling purchased items and services
- Perform verification of effective corrective action, data analysis and trending, and root cause analysis
Requirements
- BS or MS from a Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board-accredited undergraduate program or a US based ABET-accredited program or related academic experience
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical reasoning
- Valued but not required skills and experience: Experience in quality in the nuclear industry or in another regulated industry
- Working knowledge and understanding of CSA, NQA, and ISO standards
- NQA-1 Audit Team Leader Certification
- Previous Quality Assurance Manager experience
- P.Eng license
