About the role

  • Senior Quality Assurance Engineer providing technical support in a professional services environment. Leading quality assurance audits and problem resolution in the nuclear industry with project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and eventually lead and host quality assurance audits
  • Work with project teams on problem identification and resolution
  • Assist during the procurement of engineered products and materials
  • Manage quality assurance personnel
  • Train employees
  • Control purchased items and services
  • Verify effective corrective action
  • Conduct data analysis and trending
  • Perform root cause analysis

Requirements

  • BS or MS from a Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board-accredited undergraduate program or US based ABET-accredited program
  • Five or more years of experience in quality in the nuclear industry or another regulated industry
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical reasoning.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of CSA, NQA, and ISO standards (valued but not required)
  • NQA-1 Audit Team Leader Certification (valued but not required)
  • Previous Quality Assurance Manager experience (valued but not required)
  • P.Eng license (valued but not required)
