Responsibilities
Lead/direct implementation of lean tools and methods
Teach all basic tools and moderate advanced tool classes
Understand KPIs to interpret, teach, and implement changes in operational activities, including workshops and problem-solving activities
Facilitate rollouts of global/regional initiatives and reviews
Align goals and tasks with the manager to ensure applicable qualification as defined in the qualification matrix
Communicate effectively with coworkers consistent with company procedures and Leadership Essentials
Promote and support company policies, guidelines, and mission statements
Adhere to export control regulations and policies
Report unsafe working conditions, review safety issues in operations, and report first-aid incidents
Follow Environmental Management System guidelines, legal compliance, environmental-impact minimization, and preventative measures
Comply with work standards, identify quality-improvement opportunities, and report quality incidents
Requirements
BS/BA degree, preferably in Engineering or equivalent education with demonstrated competency
At least 1 year of experience at Schaeffler or in another manufacturing environment
Lean Manufacturing knowledge
Experience with developing and documenting processes (technical and administrative)
Quality Systems knowledge
Advanced organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of supply chain processes
Ability to lead implementation projects and follow up procedures
Persistent and “driven” motivator, proactive, goal oriented
Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite
Adherence to export control regulations and policies
Ability to comply with safe work practices and environmental, legal, and quality requirements
