Project Associate delivering building restoration consulting services with a focus on structural engineering and client relations. Collaborating in a multidisciplinary team environment at Sense Engineering in Halifax.

Represent Sense Engineering professionally, building positive relationships with clients, contractors and other consultants.
Enhance your understanding of structural design and analysis, building science, life cycle analysis and costing while sharing insights and lessons learned with the team.
Assist in building evaluations, structural assessments, site reviews, and investigations.
Support project coordination and contribute to successful project delivery.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless communication.
Prepare evaluation reports, construction documents, and project proposals.
Represent Sense at client meetings and other networking functions with a commitment to exceptional service standards.
Other duties as assigned/required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Building Science, Restoration Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
Previous co-op or internship experience in the engineering consulting field is considered a strong asset.
Registered with or eligible for registration with provincial engineering association.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail coupled with a client-centric mindset.
Team player who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to creative thinking and approaching challenges from fresh perspectives, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing within the organization.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required.
