TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH 🎯
In this role, you will be supported by the Electrical Systems Manager as a Professional – Engineering – Electrical Systems Integration in a multifaceted position within the Functional Engineering team. The Electrical Systems Integration team is responsible for developing, certifying, improving, and maintaining industry-leading standards for electrical power generation & distribution system architectures and lighting systems on our aircraft. Our team supports all product lines. In this role, you will:
Participate in technical improvements and developments of electrical systems for our existing and future airplane programs (architecture optimization, integration of new technologies, etc.)
Prepare and/or review engineering documents related to electrical system modifications on our airplanes (production and in-service aircraft)
Propose, develop, and test new approaches to optimize our business aircraft in areas such as emissions reduction, cost, weight, performance, and customer satisfaction
Contribute to trade studies related to the introduction and integration of new technologies on aircraft
Learn and contribute to the Electrical Knowledge Domain to capture lessons learned and industry best practices (product & process)
Manage interfaces with internal and external partners and suppliers on technical matters
Represent the Electrical discipline to internal and external collaborators
Requirements
YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS đź’Ž
As an ideal candidate, you:
Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical systems integration or a related field
Possess knowledge of relevant industry standards (RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL-STD, etc.) and are familiar with airworthiness regulations and certification authorities (TCCA, FAA, EASA) applicable to electrical systems
Are comfortable working in teams and can interact with various functions, including airworthiness, manufacturing, and other engineering disciplines to reach common objectives
Have strong oral communication skills and technical writing ability; French is an asset
Are able to work independently and take initiative to achieve assigned objectives
Are motivated to learn and to work on multiple projects simultaneously
