Responsibilities
Perform damage tolerance analyses on primary structural elements (PSE)
Provide recommendations on aircraft structural design concepts and repair solutions
Develop fatigue spectra
Validate damage tolerance analyses against experimental test results
Support the development of the maintenance manual in collaboration with technical publications and maintenance engineering teams
Collaborate with suppliers, ensuring compliance with program methodology and technical requirements
Review supplier reports and analyses
Prepare certification reports
Requirements

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
You have at least five (5) years of experience in stress analysis of metallic aircraft structures, primarily as an airframe fatigue and damage tolerance specialist
Knowledge of software such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA V5, MS Office and Google Suite is mandatory
Previous experience working on an aircraft development program or in-service support, including certification activities, is an asset
Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques is an asset
You have a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and are a team player
You possess good communication skills
You must be able to read and communicate in both French and English
