About the role

  • Rating Analyst analyzing infrastructure and project finance credit risks for S&P Global Ratings. Building models, dashboards, and research supporting independent credit opinions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior analytical leadership and global teams to advance strategic analytical priorities across the Corporate and Infrastructure practice
  • Conduct portfolio, credit, and market analysis using large datasets to identify trends, risks, and insights
  • Develop and enhance analytical tools, models, and dashboards to improve transparency, risk assessment, and efficiency
  • Support research and criteria initiatives, including cross-practice analysis and drafting analytical reports and related materials
  • Coordinate key Global Infrastructure analytical forums
  • Strengthen documentation and communication of analytical priorities across the team
  • Contribute to capability-building initiatives with exposure to senior analytical leaders and global Infrastructure and Project Finance teams
  • Deliver independent credit opinions, research, and sustainable finance insights that help market participants navigate infrastructure and project finance complexity

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in credit analysis, with experience related to project finance, infrastructure, structured finance, or comparable credit analysis
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency with Excel, financial models, and financial data
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and large datasets to support credit analysis and research
  • Demonstrated research and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to analyze non-routine issues, exercise sound judgment, and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Highly organized and execution-focused, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Fluent English, able to conduct meetings, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Final-stage candidates must attend at least one in-person interview at their nearest S&P Global Ratings office
  • Employees are required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week
