Responsibilities
Participate in defining project scopes and drafting service proposals;
Act as project manager and/or discipline lead for projects of varying sizes;
Produce electrical drawings (single-line, logic, AC and DC) and prepare equipment specifications, and fabrication and installation quotes;
Supervise the preparation of wiring diagrams and connection drawings, cable lists and bills of materials;
Perform technical studies and produce documents such as calculation notes, specifications and reports;
Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects;
Establish and maintain relationships with our clients;
Travel to project sites as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years' experience;
Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
Proficiency in protection, control and automation systems for high- and medium-voltage electrical substations;
Experience in engineering consulting, in hydroelectric power plants and/or on projects with Hydro-Québec or other utilities;
Fluency in French, both spoken and written;
Proficiency in English is required to facilitate collaboration with our internal teams outside Quebec or with clients;
Experience with short-circuit and arc flash calculations and performing protection coordination studies;
ASP Construction card (construction site health and safety).
