Responsibilities
- Leverage cutting-edge tools (UAVs, AI-integrated solutions) and contribute to Stantec’s Innovation Office and Digital Center of Excellence.
- Build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage and execute small to mid-sized geotechnical projects from proposal through completion, including planning, analysis, reporting, and client communication.
- Apply your expertise to complex analyses, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Lead and coordinate small project teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the advancement of our technical capabilities.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological or Mining Engineering, or Geology.
- 5–10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related services.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA or eligible for registration transfer from another province.
- Valid Canadian driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
- Ability to live and work in Canada.
- Residing in Edmonton Alberta, or willing to relocate.
