About the role
- Water/Wastewater Engineer supporting various projects in Windsor, Ontario while leveraging engineering knowledge. Collaborating with teams to deliver innovative solutions in water and wastewater management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Contribute to the development of conceptual design basis reports
- Prepare detailed technical analyses and evaluations
- Develop and review construction specifications and tender documents
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Conduct occasional site visits to support project development
- Review and inspect projects during construction
- Manage contract administration activities
- Support the project manager in preparing proposals and scopes of work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Process, Environmental, or Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of water and wastewater engineering related work experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within 12 months is preferred
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment commonly used in water/wastewater facilities
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated engineering judgment and problem-solving skills
- Clear grasp of engineering concepts
- Effective communication and coordination skills
- Strong presentation, technical writing, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or process modeling software is considered an asset
- Holds a valid Ontario Class G drivers’ license
