About the role

  • Water/Wastewater Engineer supporting various projects in Windsor, Ontario while leveraging engineering knowledge. Collaborating with teams to deliver innovative solutions in water and wastewater management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Contribute to the development of conceptual design basis reports
  • Prepare detailed technical analyses and evaluations
  • Develop and review construction specifications and tender documents
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct occasional site visits to support project development
  • Review and inspect projects during construction
  • Manage contract administration activities
  • Support the project manager in preparing proposals and scopes of work

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Process, Environmental, or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of water and wastewater engineering related work experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within 12 months is preferred
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment commonly used in water/wastewater facilities
  • Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated engineering judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Clear grasp of engineering concepts
  • Effective communication and coordination skills
  • Strong presentation, technical writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or process modeling software is considered an asset
  • Holds a valid Ontario Class G drivers’ license
