Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple simultaneous projects
Contribute to the development of conceptual design basis reports
Prepare detailed technical analyses and evaluations
Develop and review construction specifications and tender documents
Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
Conduct occasional site visits to support project development
Review and inspect projects during construction
Manage contract administration activities
Support the project manager in preparing proposals and scopes of work
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Process, Environmental, or Civil Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of water and wastewater engineering related work experience
Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within 12 months is preferred
Working knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment commonly used in water/wastewater facilities
Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated engineering judgment and problem-solving skills
Clear grasp of engineering concepts
Effective communication and coordination skills
Strong presentation, technical writing, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or process modeling software is considered an asset
Holds a valid Ontario Class G drivers’ license
