Responsibilities
Design and draft various projects for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
Participate in performing design calculations
Ensure drawings comply with guidelines, code requirements, and other regulations
Participate in the design of automatic controls (building automation) and in the commissioning of mechanical systems
Perform multidisciplinary coordination and assist with project delivery
Prepare drawings and specifications for ventilation, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and plumbing systems
Contribute to the preparation and review of technical reports
Establish and maintain client contacts to request or provide technical information related to the project
Perform site surveys of existing installations
Provide mentorship to junior colleagues (as appropriate according to skills)
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, the majority in consulting engineering
Licensed/registered with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Dynamic, proactive, and focused on teamwork and collaboration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is an asset
ASP construction card
Good command of written and spoken French
Knowledge of English is an asset to facilitate collaboration with internal teams outside Quebec or with clients
