Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor construction works in accordance with the plans and specifications for municipal projects
- Produce detailed reports and track the progress of works
- Coordinate among the various stakeholders
- Participate in site meetings
- Support project inspectors in resolving technical issues
- Receive and respond to change requests and/or deviation requests
- Compile and reconcile quantities with the contractor for the preparation of payment statements
- Produce deficiency (punch) lists
Requirements
- Interest in joining a dynamic, experienced and engaged team
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in monitoring municipal projects and urban development
- Experience with roadworks, sanitary sewers, water distribution systems and site/land development
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to quality work
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
