About the role

Project Technical Lead delivering innovative water treatment projects with a focus on public health and environmental protection. Collaborating with teams to provide technical oversight and mentorship.

Responsibilities

Serve as Project Technical Lead for water infrastructure projects with responsibility for providing project oversight and leadership
Provide technical management and leadership for projects in the Eastern/Atlantic region and projects across North America
Plan, organize, and manage the production of project deliverables for on-time delivery, technical quality, and within budget
Perform design for water treatment projects from preliminary design to detailed design, bidding, and construction inspection
Preparation and guidance of engineering calculations, design drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents
Prepare proposals and contribute to the development of winning strategies to help secure new work

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution
P.Eng license, or ability to obtain licensure within one year
Minimum of 10 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment project design and delivery
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Experience in the design of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, including process design, plant upgrades, optimization, and regulatory compliance
Familiarity with treatment technologies such as filtration, sedimentation, chemical treatment, disinfection, biological processes, and advanced treatment (e.g., membrane systems, PFAS removal, nutrient removal)
