About the role
- Project Technical Lead delivering innovative water treatment projects with a focus on public health and environmental protection. Collaborating with teams to provide technical oversight and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Project Technical Lead for water infrastructure projects with responsibility for providing project oversight and leadership
- Provide technical management and leadership for projects in the Eastern/Atlantic region and projects across North America
- Plan, organize, and manage the production of project deliverables for on-time delivery, technical quality, and within budget
- Perform design for water treatment projects from preliminary design to detailed design, bidding, and construction inspection
- Preparation and guidance of engineering calculations, design drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents
- Prepare proposals and contribute to the development of winning strategies to help secure new work
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution
- P.Eng license, or ability to obtain licensure within one year
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment project design and delivery
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience in the design of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, including process design, plant upgrades, optimization, and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with treatment technologies such as filtration, sedimentation, chemical treatment, disinfection, biological processes, and advanced treatment (e.g., membrane systems, PFAS removal, nutrient removal)
