About the role

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, test and supervise geophysical data acquisition programs;
- Identify client and/or project team needs and select the most appropriate geophysical technique;
- Plan field programs (budget, schedule, equipment, resources, etc.);
- Carry out acquisition and processing of data collected in the field. Perform data quality control, interpret results and prepare deliverables;
- Train and supervise additional or supporting resources (technicians, junior engineers, geologists).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in geological engineering, engineering physics, geology or another relevant discipline; a Master's degree in geophysics is an asset.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience performing geophysical assignments applied to engineering projects.
- Knowledge of multiple geophysical methods: seismic refraction, MASW, DC electrical imaging, vibration monitoring and control, borehole logging, downhole methods, ground-penetrating radar (GPR), reflection seismic (asset).
- Ambitious and proactive.
- Autonomous and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Good written communication skills in French and functional English.
- ASP card.
- Member of the OIQ or OIG (asset).
- Available to travel regularly across Quebec (10–20% of the time).
