Senior Transportation Engineer leading innovative solutions for a diverse set of clients. Part of the Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering group providing comprehensive services across Ontario.

Responsibilities

Network & Area Planning Studies
Traffic Impact Studies
Functional Planning
Parking Facility Planning And Design
Development Access
Active Transportation Planning (pedestrian and cycling system planning and facility design)
Site Plan Functional Design Review (traffic, parking, loading)
Traffic Modeling
Transit Planning
Traffic Management Plans
Transportation Planning (Master Planning, Environmental Assessments)
Contribute to business development and provide technical leadership to more junior staff on the team.

Minimum 15 Years Industry experience.
Proven project management experience
Good business development acumen
Strong written and verbal communication skills
General knowledge of relevant transportation planning and traffic engineering policies and design standards used in Ontario
Working knowledge of transportation engineering related software such as Synchro, SimTraffic, Visum, Vissim, EMME, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Municipal and/or Provincial experience would be an asset.
BaSc from an accredited university program.
Registered Professional Engineer or Professional Planner in the Province of Ontario (or eligible to apply and attain).
RSP [Road Safety Professional] certification, or knowledge and experience in road safety would be an asset.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
