About the role
- Field service representative maintaining, repairing, and installing Stryker medical equipment for customers in Northern British Columbia. Troubleshooting equipment, training users, and traveling across Canada for service support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements according to customer specifications
- Troubleshoot problems and issues and determine technical solutions
- Recommend actions to company or customer representatives for coordinated product solutions
- Assess product needs according to customer specifications
- Act as the local on-site representative to the customer’s organization
- Provide timely service and repairs to customers in support of the sales team
- Adhere to account protocols
- Complete fault isolation and equipment maintenance at account locations
- Identify additional customer needs and communicate opportunities to Stryker personnel
- Provide post-sale equipment operation and maintenance training
- Perform warranty services, upgrades, field actions, preventative maintenance, installations, deliveries, and other client-requested services
- Complete administrative duties and assist in developing service procedures
- Provide new product information to customers
- Maintain accurate inventory of Stryker equipment and parts
Requirements
- Post-Secondary Diploma in process (Technical School in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license and outstanding driving record
- University Degree preferred
- Background from a Technical School in Mechanical, Electronics or Electrical preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to any other Province or Territory within Canada for Field Service calls, customer training, or daily backfill of other technical duties
