About the role

Bilingual Financial Services Consultant helping Sun Life clients convert employer coverage and choose insurance solutions. Managing phone consultations, sales leads, and rollover protection targets.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound calls and transferred sales leads from Group Benefits members leaving their employer and seeking to convert insurance policies
Provide phone consultations by reviewing insurance options and recommending needs-aligned solutions
Build expertise on Sun Life’s range of insurance products
Fulfill strategic priorities, including multi-product selling and partnering with Sun Life’s Career Sales Force
Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching answers and alternatives, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved problems
Meet Quality Assurance requirements and other key performance metrics
Contribute to the Rollover Protection sales target by meeting or exceeding individual count and premium targets
Report to the Sales Manager, Client Solutions

Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required
Interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Listening skills and ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
Work ethic and self-starter; ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment
Professional and friendly attitude; ability to quickly develop rapport with customers over the phone
Strong influencing and closing skills
Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly
Valid and active Life Insurance License (LLQP/PQAP)
Minimum 2 years of related sales and/or service experience
Excellent communication skills
