About the role
- AWS Tech Lead managing platform operations and architecture at Supabase, ensuring secure and efficient AWS environments for global development teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve our AWS organizational architecture (Organizations, SCPs, SSO, IAM)
- Define and maintain reusable infrastructure standards and patterns, improving operational excellence across teams
- Implement preventive and detective controls across the AWS estate, working closely with our Security department
- Create financial visibility and enforce resource ownership, working closely with our FinOps department
Requirements
- Have 4+ years of experience maintaining and implementing AWS architecture through Infrastructure as Code
- Have 2+ years of technically leading a cloud foundations team focused on AWS, in a high-velocity startup (Tech Lead, Architect, Principal or similar title)
- Are comfortable working with Pulumi (TypeScript), Terraform, Kubernetes
- Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Have experience in async or globally distributed teams
- Are energized by solving real-world problems for developers and platform teams
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly
